Boer Goat and Meat Goat Events in Arkansas and Missouri

Attending events such as sanctioned Boer goat shows, junior Boer goat shows, market meat goat shows, educational seminars, and meat goat and Boer goat association meetings is a good way to learn more about the meat goat industry and ways to improve ones operation and production efficiency. Visiting and networking with other produces at these events, is also a good way to buy or sell breeding stock.

While we at Critter Ridge have made the production of breeding stock for commercial meat goat producers our primary goal, we believe that both open Boer goat shows and youth shows are very important for promoting the meat goat industry and improving the genetic base of the Boer breed. For that reason we have worked hard to promote these shows at the Northwest Arkansas District Fair Grounds in Harrison, Arkansas, and at the Arkansas State Fair in Little Rock.
