We bred our entire herd to WNDY Spot in 2010 after trying him out on a few does in 2009.

Pictured above is our 2011 kid crop at four and one half months of age. These kids had not been wormed or vacinated. They were not creep fed prior to weaning. Their mothers had only pasture while these kids were nursing. They were born in mid March, 2011. They are all out of WNDY Spot. We use turkeys to controle grasshoppers in our pastures.

SGR Cattilac Style transmits excellent meat conformation and very rapid growth. We plan to line breed to Cattillac, WNDY Spot, and to those daughters of Hogan and P28 which are very hardy and have good mothering ability. We will keep our coefficient of inbreeding to 12.5% or less.

Our goal is to breed good meat conformation, hardiness, resistance to internal parasites, and good mothering ability into a line of full blood Boers that breed true for each of these very important traits.
